Our printing productions is much more than a recycled fabric resource; it is a complete service center for Eco product development, specializing in unique processes, utilizing aqueous inks, water and energy conservation printing, dimensional digital printing, double-sided printing, waterless ‘dry dying’ process, and proprietary color management to eliminate color shifting from various light sources.
What can “green” mean? There is a lot being said about reduction of Carbon Footprints and many forms of sustainability, renewability and recycling. Prevention, Conservation and other important mechanisms can be incorporated into the meaning of ‘green’, as well.
In the world of textiles, printing plants are considered one of the world’s major sources of Air Pollutants. The cost of reclaiming damaged water, excess energy usage and process inefficiencies are immense in the textile industry. Excessive energy use required in the dyeing process drains resources; per 2,200 lbs. of dyeing, 1,000 lights could be run continuously for TWO MONTHS. Multiply these facts by thousands when you take into account almost every garment or yard of fabric made worldwide is involved in some aspect of these wasteful processes.
